Before anything gets built, planted or poured, somebody has to move dirt. Knight Landscape Concepts handles site work across the Pensacola area, from clearing an overgrown lot to cutting pads and running access drives for builders.
We own our equipment, we run our own operators, and we have been doing this work in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties for more than 20 years. Residential lots, commercial sites and job sites for contractors.
We dig, cut, fill, haul and level. Most of it is not complicated work, but it is easy to do in a way that creates a problem two seasons later.
What we handle:
If a project needs fill brought in, we source it and place it in compacted lifts rather than dumping it and calling it done. Finish grades get set with drainage in mind on every job, because we are the ones who get the call if water ends up in the wrong place.
An unbuildable lot is usually just an uncleared one. We open it up and get the ground ready for whatever is going on it.
Clearing work covers:
Selective clearing is available if there are mature trees worth keeping. Walk the property with us and mark the ones that matter, and we will work around them.
Acreage gets away from people. Bush hogging cuts tall grass, brush and light saplings back down to something manageable, usually in a single pass.
We cut:
We take one time knockdowns on property that has gone years without attention, and scheduled cuts a few times a year on land you want kept clear. For growth heavier than a bush hog can take, we bring in the equipment that can.
Sometimes the job is not a defined project. It is a machine and an operator for an afternoon.
Work we take on by the job:
Describe what needs moving, digging or knocking down and we will tell you what it takes and roughly how long it should run. Larger jobs get quoted as a project.
We build shed and shop pads, RV and boat pads, gravel and limestone driveways, parking areas, and access roads into back lots and work sites.
Each one gets a compacted base, a crown or slope that sheds water, and edge treatment where the ground needs holding. A driveway that drains is a driveway you are not regrading every two years.
Old sheds, failing slabs, broken retaining walls, fencing, dead trees and years of accumulated debris.
We take it down, load it out, and leave the ground clean and graded, ready for whatever comes next. Haul off is available on its own if the demolition is already done.
A good share of our site work is for builders, remodelers and commercial contractors around Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. What they need from a dirt contractor is not complicated. Show up when you said you would, leave the site in a condition the next trade can work in, and answer the phone.
We do all three. If scheduling has burned you before, call us.
Site work is the part of a project nobody sees and everybody pays for twice when it is done wrong.
